A Twist of Fate

We met at a Chicago book signing by a wondrous author, Richard Bach, who writes about soulmates and airplanes. We decided to express our joy by flying high together inside a passionate soft pretzel business and nurture the world with our deliciously twisted and inspired products.

Kim Holstein, CEO, President and CIO (Chief Inspirational Officer), co-founded the Company with her husband Scott. Kim and Scott are responsible for leadership of the Company. Kim appears regularly on QVC, which has resulted in millions of dollars in sales, serves as co-spokesperson for the Company in press and television appearances, creates new products and marketing strategies and serves as a coach and mentor to the employees. Kim worked for Ogilvy & Mather prior to launching the Company in 1995. She received her BA in marketing from the University of Texas and a Masters in Integrated Communications from the Medill School at Northwestern University. Kim has participated in the Women’s Business Development Center workshops in Chicago, which helped form the Company.

Scott Holstein, COO, co-founded the Company with his wife Kim. Scott’s leadership includes QVC, national press and television, and development of new products. He also designed the grab ‘n go single serve microwavable and oven-safe branded packaging. Scott has extensive, long term relationships with all the major customers, brokers and distributors in the industry. He leads product research and development and plant design for the new facility. Scott ran his father’s Ben & Jerry’s franchise in Lincoln Park prior to launching the Company. He received his BA in Economics from Colorado College.
