Raising Dough For Your School
The Pretzel Dough program was developed in 2009 by Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels to donate a percentage of our grocery sales (much like current boxtop programs) to schools. With the challenging economy, we feel it's an important time for us to support schools, while empowering kids along the way. In this way, kids participate in "raising dough" for much needed programs, feel accomplished, and are able to enjoy a healthier, all-natural snack or meal option!
We are reimbursing participating schools $1.00 per UPC (proof of purchase barcode) on any Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels 4-count item, until the end of the 2011/2012 school year! We are excited, as most "box top-like" programs donate 10¢ - 20¢ per UPC or box top.
This program is an example of how we live our mission and mantra, "Pretzels With A Purpose." The Pretzel Dough program was inspired by both our Pretzel Power initiative (mission to empower kids) and Pretzels for Peace initiative (mission to support organizations that make positive changes in our world community).
